Make a Decision About the Prophetic

 

 

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith the Lord, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

 

And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy. Acts 2:17-18

God is moving in the Earth. He hears your cry and has seen your tears. He knows how hard life is…remember: He’s been there or more accurately IS HERE. Actually, He has been to worse places emotionally than we could ever dream…

 

…Betrayed…check

Cast out…yup – by the church guys…

Lied to…and left alone…

Sold out, beaten, abused, and ultimately crucified.

 

But none of it could hold Him. For He also prophetically foretold His own death AND  resurrection. Those closest to Him couldn’t wrap their heads around it, despite seeing it unfold before their very eyes.

 

It is so easy to sit back, two thousand years later,with four gospel accounts at our fingertips, in a multitude of different versions, wondering how the disciples could be so thick-headed, so hard to convince. Doubting Thomas has held his moniker down through the ages despite his reluctantbelieving and eventual martyrdom for Christ.

 

And yet, even so, we tend to be skeptical of His moving, working, prophetically impacting the church today.I believe as He moves in the Earth in the latter days, He is calling us back to the simplicity of the early church.He wants to become so real to us that we couldn’t possibly doubt His presence in our lives or in His church.Heis longing for us to experience an intimacy with Him that will completely usurp all the other things that would inevitably become gods before Him.

 

Will you allow Him to speak prophetically into your life? His loving, wooing, life-giving Spirit wants to fill everyvacant hole, every hurting part. There is nothing that we have done that is too much for Him to handle. He wants to love on you, to give you His peace, that is beyond human comprehension…and make you fully whole. Accept His offered grace and mercy and…
